The Boys in the Boat

First up is a book I read a few years back well before George Clooney decided to adapt it for a feature film due out on Christmas Day 2023.  I was inspired by the characters' ability to overcome huge obstacles to achieve tremendous success in the sport of rowing.  The boys from the University of Washington's crew team started out with nothing but each became something beyond their wildest dreams.
